Prices
ZAR 8,170.– (approx. € 1,021.–) per person sharing
with 6 participants
ZAR 7,830.– (approx. € 979.–) per person sharing
with 4 participants
ZAR 8,080.– (approx. € 1,010.–) per person sharing
with 2 participants
ZAR 1,990.– (approx. € 249.–) single supplement
The above-mentioned prices are valid until October 31, 2006. The approx. Euro price is based on 1 € = 8.00 ZAR. Prices for 3, 5, 7 or 8 participants or larger groups on request. In the case of 6 participants the price is slightly higher as a luxury car will have to be used. This or a similar tour may start in Cape Town instead of Johannesburg at any time. It may also be undertaken as a guided minibus tour.
Departure

Our prices include:
- 12 x accommodation in comfortable guesthouses, chalets, small hotels and bungalows with bathroom en-suite
- 1 x accommodation in a luxury tent in the Bushcamp of the private Game Reserve "Edeni" including 2 game drives in a safari vehicle with professional ranger and tracker
- 12 x breakfast, 1 x lunch, 1 x dinner in Edeni
- 14 days car hire
- Mercedes Vito or similar
- Toyota Condor or similar
- Toyota Corolla 1.6 (group B car) or similar
Our prices exclude:
- Water and under-carriage damage to vehicle, Deposit of ZAR 1000.00, 2nd driver charge ZAR 110.00, contract fee ZAR 25.00 per contract, one way drop-off charge of ZAR 500.00 each between Johannesburg and Durban and Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. These charges have to be paid directly to the car hire company upon take over of vehicle. Traffic fine handling fees, claim handling fees, etc. these would be taken off the initial deposit if applicable.
- flight to and from South Africa
- flight from Durban to Port Elizabeth (approx. ZAR 800.00 = € 100.00)
- all entrance fees and costs of excursions
- petrol, oil, toll fees, etc.
- travel insurance, which we strongly recommend
- porterage, tips (usually 10% of bill)
Terms and conditions
- All bookings have to be done in writing (booking form).
- The contract is based on the descriptions and conditions mentioned in the itinerary and in this price list.
- A deposit of 15 % of the total price has to be paid on date of confirmation of booking, full balance is due 5 weeks before the tour starts.
- Payment in Rand by bank transfer to our account.
- Marlis Travel & Tours and their guides do not accept responsibility for any client in respect of any loss, injury, illness, damage, accident, death, delay or inconvenience during the duration of the trip.
- In the unlikely event of rescue and medical assistance being needed the participants shall be liable for the entire cost.
Cancellation fees
Should the participant cancel the contract, the tour operator may ask for an adequate compensation of administration fees. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- 15%
- until 30 days before departure
- 30%
- 29–22 days before departure
- 50%
- 21–15 days before departure
- 75%
- 14–11 days before departure
- 100%
- 10–1 days before departure or non-participation
