Prices
ZAR 24,200.– (approx. € 2,547.–) per person sharing
(based on a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 7 participants)
ZAR 4,100.– (approx. € 432.–) single supplement
There is a supplement of ZAR 800.– (approx. € 84.–) for the tours SAH 216/217 (Easter Holiday), SAH 239, 240 and 241 due to high season (Christmas/Holidays). Prices from departure date 20.10.2007 are provisional and therefore subject to confirmation.
The approx. Euro prices are based on 1 € = 9.50 ZAR. Prices for larger groups on request. The tours start in Cape Town and end in Johannesburg for a purpose: the highlights (bush & game) are towards the end of the tours. For groups of 4 or more participants, the tour may start in Johannesburg and at any day. This or a similar tour may also be undertaken as a self-drive tour.
One additional night in a guest house in Cape Town prior to tour begin will cost ZAR 640.– (approx. € 67.–) per person sharing including breakfast and transfer from airport. Single supplement ZAR 315.– (approx. € 33.–).
Our prices include:
- Transport in an air-conditioned Minibus as from 3 participants. For a tour with only 2 participants a Toyota Corolla Group B or similar will be used.
- English speaking tour guide
- pick-up from accommodation in Cape Town or airport on the day the tour starts (only on arrivals before 09h00)
- transfer to Johannesburg airport on day the tour ends
- all entrance fees and costs of excursions as mentioned in the itinerary
- 21 x accommodation in comfortable guesthouses, chalets, etc.
- including 1 x accommodation in a luxury tent in the Bushcamp of the private Game Reserve Edeni,
- including 2 game drives in a safari vehicle with professional ranger and tracker
- 21 x breakfast, 6 x dinner, 1 x lunch
- activities in the Zulu village Simunye
Our prices exclude:
- flight to and from South Africa
- drinks
- Cable Car to Table Mountain (approx. ZAR 110.– = approx. € 12.– per person), as weather permitting
- Pony rides in Lesotho (approx. ZAR 200.– = approx. € 21.– per person per day; based on a minimum of 2 participants) incl. tips for local guide (approx. ZAR 15.– = approx. € 1.60 per hour)
- telephone costs and porterage
- travel insurance, which we strongly recommend
- tips for meals, drinks, driver/tour guide

Terms and conditions
- All bookings have to be done in writing (booking form).
- The contract is based on the descriptions and conditions mentioned in the itinerary and in this price list.
- A deposit of 10 % of the total price has to be paid on date of confirmation of booking, full balance is due 5 weeks before the tour starts.
- Payment by bank transfer to our South African account.
- Marlis Travel, their employees, business associates, guides / drivers do not accept responsibility for any client in respect of any loss, injury, illness, damage, accident, death, delay or inconvenience during the duration of the tour.
- All tours are subject to a minimum of 2 persons and maximum of 7 persons.
- In the unlikely event of rescue and medical assistance being needed the participants shall be liable for the entire cost.
Cancellation fees
Should the participant cancel the contract, the tour operator may ask for an adequate compensation of administration fees. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

- until 30 days before departure
- 30%
- 29–22 days before departure
- 50%
- 21–15 days before departure
- 75%
- 14–11 days before departure
- 100%
- 10–1 days before departure or non-participation
