Prices
NAD 21,930.– (approx. € 2,380.–) per person sharing
(based on a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 7 participants)
NAD 2,750.– (approx. € 289.–) single supplement
1 NAD = 1 ZAR
There is a supplement for the tours NAA 316 (Easter holidays), NAA 332 and NAA 333 (Christmas/Schoolholidays) of NAD 1050.– (approx. € 117.–) per person due to high season. Prices from departure 14.10.2007 are provisional and therefore subject to confirmation.
The approx. Euro prices are based on 1 € = 9.50 NAD. Prices for larger groups on request. For groups of 4 or more participants, the tour may start at any date. This or a similar tour may also be undertaken as a self-drive tour.
Our prices include:
- Transport in an air-conditioned minibus
- English speaking tour guide
- collection from hotel or airport in Windhoek on the morning the tour starts
- drop off at hotels/airport in Windhoek on the day the tour ends
- all entrance fees and costs of excursions as mentioned in the itinerary and below
- 16 x accommodation in comfortable guesthouses and farms, chalets, etc.
- 16 x breakfast, 1 x lunch, 5 x dinner
Our prices exclude:
- flight to / from Windhoek
- drinks
- personal expenses
- telephone costs and porterage
- tips for meals, drinks (10% are customary), driver / guides
- travel insurance which we strongly recommend
Entrance fees and excursions
The following entrance fees and excursions are included in the price:
- Waterberg Plateau Park
- guided tour in safari vehicle to top of Plateau
- 3 nights Etosha National Park
- Vingerklippe
- Tour with local guide for petrified forest
- tour with local guide for Twyvelfontein rock paintings / engravings
- Cape Cross seal colony
- permit for Welwitschia route incl. moon landscape and Oasis Goanikontes
- Sesriem Canyon and Sossusvlei incl. 4x4 shuttle service for the last 4 km to Sossusvlei
- guided tour in ghost town and museum "Kolmanskop"
- Quivertree Forest/ Giant's Playground, Keetsmanshoop
- main view point Hobas / Fishriver Canyon
- Game drive with a professional ranger in the Kalahari Game Reserve
- educational nature walk with a bushman.
Terms and conditions
- All bookings have to be done in writing (booking form).
- The contract is based on the descriptions and conditions mentioned in the itinerary and in this price list.
- A deposit of 10 % of the total price has to be paid on date of confirmation of booking, full balance is due 5 weeks before the tour starts.
- Payment in Rand by bank transfer to our account.
- Marlis Travel & Tours and their guides do not accept responsibility for any client in respect of any loss, injury, illness, damage, accident, death, delay or inconvenience during the duration of the trip.
- All tours are subject to a minimum of 4 persons and maximum of 7 persons.
- In the unlikely event of rescue and medical assistance being needed the participants shall be liable for the entire cost.
Cancellation fees
Should the participant cancel the contract, the tour operator may ask for an adequate compensation of administration fees. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- 15%
- until 30 days before departure
- 30%
- 29–22 days before departure
- 50%
- 21–15 days before departure
- 75%
- 14–11 days before departure
- 100%
- 10–1 days before departure or non-participation
